We hosted a baby bump open house for my sweet friend Carol last Saturday! It was so much fun to plan and prepare for this special day. Carol does SO MUCH for everyone else that it was pure joy to spoil her in every way possible. Her sister, Natalie, her ZTA big sis, Leanne, and I threw the party and her mom, Donna was gracious to offer to have it at her home. Baby Meredith will be here some time in late December, and I cannot wait to meet her. She is so lucky to have Carol as her Momma! We have been best friends for a very long time and our friendship just gets sweeter with age. I know she is going to be an amazing mother!
I will let the photos do the rest of the talking.
First up , the FOOD!
We had two food stations set up, and it was a lovely fall day, so one station was outside!
Outside Food Table:
Fresh fruit with lemon yogurt and mint from Donna’s garden:
Vegetable Crudité with homemade ranch for dipping
Homemade Quiche Lorraine
Pumpkin Spice Muffins
French vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting
Cotton Candy Martinis
And here are a few shots of our indoor food station…
Now for the activity of the day, we had a craft table set up outside so that Carol’s guests could create a one-of-a-kind onesie for baby Meredith.
Our party favors were individual bags of peanuts because Carol’s Dad has called her peanut since forever, and when she found out she was pregnant, she had an outfit embroidered with “Lil Peanut” as a fun way to tell her parents!
Donna created beautiful flower arrangements all over the house!
Diaper wreath that Carol can take to the hospital when baby comes.
Hostesses + Super Cute Baby Mama Carol
Addie B had to make an appearance at the party (Thanks Bubbie for getting her there!)
Meredith’s Mimi practicing on Carol’s baby doll from when she was little
She received lots of WONDERFUL gifts!
And sweet Macie enjoying a snack….
It was a lovely day, and I am absolutely delighted to have been a part of such a sweet and special celebration!!
Looking forward to all that is to come! Love you Carol!
